They're sorta... jellylike? Green and see-through. One that we ran into was huge and wide, with a big mouth on its belly... we couldn't figure out at first why it'd be helping us fight it, 'cause it seemed like the stuff it was made of gave us something of a boost, but then we realized a little later it's just trying to make its food tastier to it.

It was a lot more invasive, for one thing. My comrades and I ended up near something that sort of... resonates with you. Shows other people what's in your head and heart, in a real literal way.
