Honestly, what does help in trial? Aside from the stuff we're made to scrounge up on the fly.

But the good thing is, it sounds like we might be able to communicate with the dead quite handily, given time and luck. I don't know if that was a thing for you as well? But it was a huge relief, even if it never worked perfectly.

Did you ever get hints in your trials?

You mean magic items? Yes. People could get things that would point out important clues and stuff. I had a stuffed pigeon for one, but I never got to use it.

We could buy them in trial. So hopefully we'll be able to do that again, even if nobody has one already.
