[Good news it is back in date]
Fair enough! Don't worry, I'm sure we'll make a big enough racket to get some attention soon.
[Just. Based on experience and also what he's already seen from this merry band of clowns so far.]
Me? [He looks thoughtful.] I'm not all that picky, but I'd love a sparring arena. Especially if it had an archery range.
[It is not the same when he's nerfed but he's dealt with that many times so eh.]

[]
Ahaha, spoken with the humility of a true archer! [He gets it.] I'm most comfortable with blades, myself. But it's been some time since I've been cut off from the elements, so I'll have to get used to working with standard weaponry again.
[Where is he going to get that]

[HEWWO ROSAMUND... Childe is here, drinking some black tea and fiddling with his phone. He greets her with a little wave when he sees her, but otherwise doesn't seem all that different than he has been any other day.]
How's your space working out? [Childe what about your dead teammate]

[Maybe he is, maybe he isn't... who's to say.]
Yes, exactly. [The whole losing it when you're used to it thing... not life-ruining, but still a pain!!
At her question, his expression turns wry, though.] An old gift for my little brother. The auditors' idea of a threat, most likely.

[WELL, YOU KNOW... the vibes are different when everyone knows they're just chilling somewhere else and will come back at the end... also it wasn't Kate so who cares. (no) (kind of)]
I'm alright. No familiar faces on my team, but I have no complaints.

He should be fine. From what I understand, the auditors' power is limited to undoing or maintaining what we did in our games, so he shouldn't be affected. If I had to guess, it was more intended as an incentive--less of a "look what we could do to him" and more, "look what you'll lose if you don't participate."
[No it's just that I, pixi, chose this item. But he doesn't know that]
Of course, I'd have to ask them to know for sure.

[He laughs, and amends--] Well, yes, maybe a few.
[HE STILL DOESN'T WANT TO BE HERE, even if he's been chill about it; he lifts one shoulder in a shrug, as if to illustrate this.]
I'd be lying if I said I was thrilled about all this, but it's not the first time I've been stuck somewhere unexpected--or even the second. [Haha CRAU joke] And I'd be a poor warrior if I couldn't handle a little bloodshed. There are no conveniently scheduled deaths on the battlefield.
