temenos' eyes go wide. he's not the most affectionate guy in the world (read: he is awkward) and more than that, the gesture is so sweet and sincere and immediate that it stuns him, knocks any witty remark from his mouth. he
laughs again, this sort of soft, more helpless noise, and then gently, delicately reaches up to hug her back, sort of relaxing into it in ways he rarely does. ]

It feels better when he relaxes, an affirmation that she's not just being pushy for her own selfish sake. A grateful tear rolls down her cheek and she sniffs, gathering herself together before she speaks.]
