It would be a waste of those profiles to not look through them. But we could always pretend things are normal and that I haven't seen it.
[ not the first person she's played that game with. ]
You're not interrupting. There's nothing to interrupt. [ there's a vague restlessness just radiating off of her, but she makes a little 'go ahead' gesture as rosamund sits. ] Yeah? I've talked to the kid.

I'm sure we've all still got some left.
He's... a kid. [ neutral. lovelace doesn't interact with kids much... but, a smile at that, and at the compliment. ]
I'm sure everyone here's capable in their own ways. Probably. For the record, I don't think escaping this ship is realistic. Not unless there's another ship for us to take, and without knowing my way around here, I wouldn't assume.
Taking over the ship, though... [ is what she thinks is a more realistic way of choosing where they go and getting people home. ]

With all of us coming from different worlds and how big all of space is, I don't know if splitting off into smaller crews is going to help all of us. I wouldn't stop anyone who wanted to go off on their own, but I wouldn't count on them getting anything done for the rest of us once they're gone, either.

Good. I wouldn't expect them to.
[ she doesn't think this crew is that thoughtless. ]
... Yeah. I've had about enough of it, too. [ thinking for a moment. and she knows this is really not a good solution, doesn't really fix the problem or count as an escape, but: ] There's always the sim room.

Biggest problem with a quiet type here is that something could happen before they break open. It takes time, and we just... don't necessarily have it.
[ okay that thought stopped being comforting half way through. good work. ]
It's probably not the last. But hey. We'll bond through the trauma.
