[Rosamund approaches, rubbing at one teary eye. She's keeping composed, but my god.]

She takes a seat next to her, hands to her knees to brace.]

After the weeks both of them had...it's just salt in the wound.

And someone either purposely targeted Vi because she was injured, [ which it never is because we plan death EARLY ] or... Vi just had some of the worst luck in the world.

It could be. And Anders was missing a limb, so that could have also put a target on his back.

...But, with how things seemed to have worked before? In games where people got possessed? It might just be chance. Terrible luck.

Or it's the auditors picking and choosing the most dramatic options.

And… what? Subconsciously guiding killers towards their targets? [ … ] Oh I’d hate that if we true, but I have no idea how they’d pull something like that off.

I don't know what is or isn't possible anymore. [She sighs.] I can't trust that what happened before is the only thing that is possible. We don't even know if we're from the only games that have existed.

I won't rule anything out, and I don't want to keep coming up with terrible theories that we can't prove. It's just...difficult. When we can only sit here and wait the whole day. The whole week, really. I just hope some clues show up soon.

… At least we know they are going wherever it is that they’re meant to be going, after this. It’s a cold comfort, but still good to hear Boot and Essek were okay, despite everything.

Yes, I was so relieved to hear from them. Well, from Boothill. I didn't speak to Essek very much so that's all right.

[Rosamund looks to her, softening. Letting the tight hold on her emotions loosen a little.]

Rosamund moves forward, winding her arms around the other women. Grateful once again to be free of the briars and the scars in this life. There's no worry about hurting anyone when she holds them.]
