And we had to enter this tournament to - [ a pause while he listens to... something? nothing? and just nods his head in that "yeah yeah okay i get it" kind of way. ] - to lift the prince's curse. One of the guys in the tournament knew how, so we needed to get close to him. But he was like a celebrity, so we had to go through the tournament to get there. Which meant... getting a bounty first.
No, no, that wasn't — I get it! I do. I just...I miss some of my other friends too, in times like this. My own Jonases and Alexes.

Yeah, we were. The bounty was - I think it was just supposed to be a regular monster, but it turned out to be a human instead. They're like monsters, but smarter, stronger, and they were immune to all of our equipment.
I don't know a lot about the curse, except there these, like - vines, all over the prince, and he fell asleep and didn't wake up. [ lmao. ] Some kind of assassination attempt, maybe so Louis could steal the crown instead? He's supposedly the one who did it.
Though there is a complete drop of her face at the mention of "vines" all over a prince.]
...You don't say... [Trying not to think too hard about it. She hasn't suffered a ton under whatever weird transformation has been taking over people this week, and she's scared if she thinks too hard about it they'll come back. Maybe even stay for good.
